本科毕业于武汉大学生命科学学院(理学学士),硕士、博士分别毕业于加拿大McMaster University (麦克马斯特大学) 生物系、南京大学医药生物技术国家重点实验室。2004年8月开始任职于东南大学。期间2013-2014年赴美国宾夕法尼亚大学(University of Pennsylvania, UPenn) 医学院细胞与发育生物学系进行合作研究,2020-2021年由国家留基委(CSC)-McMaster University Joint Fellowship资助在加拿大McMaster University生物系访问学者。
担任Appl. Microbiol. Biotech., Curr. Pharm. Biotech., Mol. Plant-Microbe Interact., Int. J. Mol. Sci., Macromol.,Arch. Microbiol.等SCI期刊审稿专家;中国微生物学会会员,东南大学欧美同学会会员。
从事群体感应介导的微生物次生代谢调控研究包括抗药性。近年发表期刊论文20多篇,其中10多篇SCI索引源文章,一作和通讯作者发文总IF> 100。刊于BMC Immunol. (2017) 文章被Web of Science 列为高被引论文,迄今它引499次。
承担多项国家级/省部级科研项目,主持江苏省自然科学面上项目、产学研项目以及参与国家科技支撑计划海洋专项,等。
主讲《生物制药》(全英文)、《代谢调控原理与应用》等专业主干课。
